Our services

Birth support

We will meet with you and your partner in your home for a free initial consultation.

This will be chance for us to get to know each other and get a feel of whether we are the right doulas for you. This meeting would be about 30 minutes long with no obligation.

Should you decide to hire us, we would then agree the package, the deposit would be paid and we would book in the two antenatal visits.

These two visits will enable us to get to know each other more and discuss your expectations and the support you would like.

We will explore the support we can provide for you and share information on the following topics:

  • Birth preferences
  • Physiology of birth
  • Support preferred during labour
  • Where you will give birth
  • Feeding options for your new baby

We will be on-call 24 hrs 7 days a week, from 10 days before your due date -waiting with you until your baby arrives.

We will attend and remain with you throughout your labour and birth.

After the birth we will ensure you are comfortable and settled before we leave.

We will arrange a visit during the first week after the birth to assist with all the questions about early days care and feeding.  An important part of our visit will be to talk over your experience of your baby’s birth and help you to settle into your new life as a family. A second visit is offered if needed or wanted.

Gift vouchers are available for family and friends to contribute. You can do this through The Doula Directory (just click on the logo to go there) or direct with us.

“There is not one ‘correct’ way of giving birth, and it’s not something that a woman ‘fails’ or ‘passes’. As long as she decides what is best for her and her baby, it can be an empowering experience.”
